The value of investments and pensions can go down as well as up - you may get back less than the sum invested.

Our fees depend upon the volume of our work, but will be no more than £750 for mortgages. (This will be in addition to any commission from the lender.) Furthermore, our fees will be no more than £1000 (with any commission from the lender refunded to the client).

Background

Sterling takes the time to understand our clients' financial needs and aspirations, whilst completing a comprehensive assessment of their financial requirements, including a full evaluation of any existing financial products.

Wealth Management

Sterling’s approach includes completing a full risk assessment of our clients’ existing financial products, whilst reviewing any long and short term requirements.

We review fund performance and fees (with the aim of minimising fees whilst maximising performance), whilst ensuring that any financial arrangements are tax-effective.

Payment for Services

We currently offer two flexible methods of paying for our investment advice:
Option 1 - fees paid by cheque or from product
Option 2- fees paid using a combination of option 1 and 2
Once our advisor has assessed your individual requirements an exact quotation will be made available.

Insurance and Mortgages

Sterling assesses our clients’ individual requirements, whilst ensuring that any existing arrangements are cost-effective.

Personal Wealth Review

We complete a comprehensive review of the your pension and investment portfolio, whilst taking into account your future aims and aspirations.

We will review the performance of your existing portfolio, providing an investment overview which includes the amount invested, current value, investment strategy and fund performance.

Following this review, we will provide you with an overview of the products that we would recommend, with an explanation of the associated risks of these products (whilst taking into account the level of risk acceptable to the client).

We will ensure that you are informed of any regulatory changes that may affect your financial position.

Clients are provided with unlimited telephone, email and website access to an advisor, with the opportunity for further appointments*, if necessary.

*The timing of future reviews will be agreed from the commencement - any further costs for ongoing services will be agreed in advance, and we may also be required to charge for other additional services as required.

Insurance and Mortgage Advice

Review Service

Sterling provides comprehensive advice regarding insurance cover and mortgage products.

We complete a comprehensive review of our clients’ current insurance/mortgage needs (to ascertain whether you are adequately covered, for example), as well as any future requirements. We will then provide an overview of any insurance/mortgage products we consider to be suitable, whilst offering an overview of the various options.

As part of Sterling’s review process, we ensure our clients are informed of any regulatory changes that may affect their insurance/mortgage.

Clients are provided with unlimited telephone, email and website access to an advisor, with the opportunity for further appointments*, if necessary.

*The timing and frequency of these reviews will be agreed between the client and the advisor. The cost of any services will be clearly stated at the commencement, and Sterling Partnership reserves the right to charge for extra services, as required.
